- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Bought Spring Bay Mussels for the 3. time in the last 6 months today, and I was disappointed for the 3. time. While the shells were all 80mm in size on average, none of the mussel meat reached 19mm in size. All of them were no bigger than my thumb nail (which is quite small!). Compared to the mussels I am used to from the North Sea it was pathetic. I bought your mussels several times last year, they were nice then, but I am not wasting my money on such a disappointing product any more.By G. N., July 20, 2016
